Moving day with Harradines
We have been moving people for 40 years and have listened to their feedback on what makes a smooth and stress-free move. Here's what to expect from a Harradines move...
The day before, you will receive a text or email with the name of the foreman and an estimated arrival time.
On packing day, the foreman will introduce his team (all in uniform) by name and explain to you how the day is going to run. If any extra staff join the team during the day, they will also be introduced to you by name. The foreman will keep you informed of progress as packing proceeds - especially if they are dealing with special, unusual items. Security will be a key concern for the foreman. Vehicles will not be left unattended at any time. At the end of the day the team will check that all boxes are labelled and the foreman will check that you have left out any essentials for your last night in the old property. The vehicles containing your belongings will be locked in secure premises overnight.
On move day you will meet the same foreman; the last items will be packed and checks carried out to ensure that everything is loaded. The arrival time at the new property will be agreed. On arrival, the removal team will walk around the new property with you to familiarise themselves with the room layout. Unpacking will begin, furniture will be reassembled, laid out as desired and all boxes will be left in their correct rooms. Within a few days of the move we will contact you to ensure that you are happy and to make arrangements to collect empty boxes.
