Surveys take around 30 minutes and are arranged within 2-3 days of you contacting us, at your convenience - at either end of your working day, if that's best for you. During the survey, one of our highly experienced surveyors will thoroughly assess all your possessions, from the garden shed to the loft, and discuss any special requirements. We've been moving people for 40 years and have probably encountered every possible scenario.

Our surveyor will also explain the comprehensive range of services Harradines offers, including whole or part packing and our exclusive storage facilities. They will look at any individual items such as pianos, paintings or specialist audio visual equipment and will gauge the access to both your current and new properties.

Following the surveyor's visit, you'll receive an email quotation and detailed move schedule within 24 hours, followed by hard copies in the post. A Harradines quotation is not an estimate. It is a detailed quotation, tailored to your exact needs. Everything is included, there are no hidden extras or associated costs: timescales, types of vehicles, packing options, number of staff and insurance cover will all be itemised in full.
