How secure is the storage container?

Containerised storage units are specially designed for high security and efficient storage. At Harradines, each individual unit is security sealed with individual numbers, so your belongings are organised and easily identifiable by you and our staff.

High levels of security are essential in containerised storage facilities, which is why we use state-of-the-art surveillance technology for protection against theft and crime. Our warehouses are monitored using Redcare alarms and a remote monitored CCTV system, so you can rest assured knowing that your belongings are in the safest, most secure place possible.

All containerised units are locked inside our purpose-built warehouse which also features security fencing to prevent intruders from gaining access to the premises.

What size storage units are available?

As part of our aim to provide the most comprehensive, efficient storage service possible, here at Harradines we offer 250 cf industry standard containers so there is plenty of space to fit your belongings. Furthermore, all of our units are clean and temperature controlled, ensuring even the most sensitive items are kept in the exact same condition as when they arrive.

What access can I have to my container?

If you have a containerised storage unit with us, you will need to arrange an appointment with our storage staff to access the unit. This improves security levels within the facility as it ensures only staff and owners of the units are in the premises.

Do I have a key to my storage unit?

Unlike self-storage, owners of containerised storage units will not have their own key.

What are the minimum and maximum storage periods?

As a convenient, flexible storage option, there is no minimum or maximum storage period for our customers, so you can store your belongings with us for a little or as long as you wish.

How much notice should I give when I no longer need the container?

There is no long term commitment when you rent a unit from us, so no notice is required if you no longer need the container.

What can I store in the containers?

From pieces of furniture and clothes to valuables and important documents, you are able to store a wide range of belongings at our modern facilities. It’s worth noting that we do not allow perishables, paints or gas bottles to be stored with us, and we will carry out a thorough inventory of your items before they are put in the unit.
